Summer picnic dinner

Ever since my kids were little, we’ve had “picnic dinners.” They know that this just means: mom is grabbing anything she can find in the fridge and pantry and putting it on a platter or board. You take a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Honestly, it’s our favorite way to eat.

These dinners most certainly aren’t always this fancy, but we sure did enjoy this particular picnic dinner.
